Router bit item #50-002 is perfect for standard ¼'-20 hex bolts. All bits have double flutes and ½' shank. NOTE: We recommend using a straight router bit for routing a groove to remove some of the waste before using the T-slot router bit. The diameter of the straight bit should be slightly less than the small diameter of the T-slot router bit.   1. The T-slots are designed to a specific depth and width depending on the material. The T-slot is used mostly for mounting and fastening a wide variety of accessories and panels to the aluminum extrusion. Often, panels will be inserted into the T-slot to quickly create a wall or enclosure.

  3. You may want to verify the slot size. Unless someone recut them they should be a common size (1/2', 9/16' or 5/8'). Take flat file and run it down both sides of the slots to remove any burrs or mushrooming.
