LOCK-LR-05-C L&R's RPL-05-C Percussion Lock to upgrade Lyman Great Plains, Cabela's, or InvestArm Hawken Rifles, right hand only, made in the USA, by L&R Lock Company. Price: $140.00 LOCK-LR-UPGRADE Sharon Hawken new internal lock parts, by L&R. Lyman's flintlock is not very efficient. He bought L & R's RPL for it. Quality is excellent. It closely resembles my L & R Late English lock. It was never intended to be a 'drop-in' fit. RPL flintlocks are extremely close fits but they require slight wood removal and other fitting to the rifle for a good result. The completed kit is beautiful. October Country Muzzleloading, INC. B: Using the jaws of a vise, tum the tumbler side of the plate down, with the vise jaws only far enough apart to allow the tumbler to fit freely. About the only way you may find a T/C flintlock lock for your rifle is a gun flea market. I use L&R locks, and love them, but as you indicated they are about $200 each, will require some inletting, and you still need to find a flinter breech plug.
